I start running around with my head cut off saying I need sugar! and I want something ! And in my head I hear those natural sweets are not going to be the same. Then I start eating them and they take the edge off. I can't believve it is so hard. My husband has been clean from smoking for 5 days. i haven't been able to stop for a full day. I take that back i haven't had any refined sugar products today.
I use to drink a six pack of cola a day my fav is coc cola till this day.
I have been gradually getting off sweets. I am at the point of not buying any candy cookies, ice cream, etc because i can eat all of it in 2 days or less.
I am so crabby and bitter. I don't get how people don't have to have or have once in a blue moon.
And anyone who has this sweet craving or addiction, There are no studies on withdrawel symptoms, their are no length of withdrawel studies to show what the heck to do. Oh yeah, eat fruit. Well I keep doing that, and it seems the more I try the more I crave. AAAGGGGHHHH!
Patience is not my virtue and I cried and whined to my husband. He said if I go get you candy, then I will buy cigarettes. And then he said is that what you want and I said no. So even though it is blackmail, it woke me up. It is not only me who is having a rough time. Actually he is doing way better than me.
Oye Vey. I have to pray and meditate on this terrible craving. This addiction is like any other. You ry and try again until you knock it dead.
