Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
There was an Osco Pharmacy that my mother used that was made up of nothing but scowling, rude, unhelpful pharmacists who seemed to resent your very presence. They were so horrible that you felt like surely you were being pranked for a reality show or something and you'd keep waiting for a bunch of people with TV cameras to jump out, yelling Surprise!!!! It's just a joke!!!!
But, no. These people were sadly all to real. And you knew it wasn't just you because almost every time you'd be in the store, other customers would be talking about how rude and snotty they were!!!!
I'm sorry if that's your only option. If it doesn't matter where you go, shop around for a more competent and amenable place!!!!
Good luck!!!! (((((Hugs)))))
For example: My mom doesn't have pharmacy benefits on her insurance so she has to pay out of pocket for her medications. She had hip replacement surgery last week and they wanted her on this new blood thinner that was designed with joint replacement patients in mind. It was $300 at the hospital pharmacy. She called her pharmacy which is a local owned pharmacy and they didn't have it but told her they would get it the next day and only charge her $200 for two reasons 1) They understood she was paying completely OOP and 2) They appreciate and care about their customers and are loyal. She would have never gotten that at Walgreens or Wal-Mart.
I am 100% all about supporting independents especially after what they did for her last week. My husband uses Wal-Mart now because of his medical plan, but I am going to make the switch when we switch plans.
solution?..I've got a tdoc appt. today...I'll work all this with her today and learn to do this for myself and not let my past intimidate me. I wonder then, how much of my irritation in life is actually fear?...
