My husband sucks he has to hate himself. He does not know how to love anything but dogs.
My daughter came over to my house with my 4-year old grandson. My daughter does not visit often because my husband is a pathetic ass hole. My husband works third shift granted ,but had slept more than 8 hours. My grandson's preschool is five minutes from my house. My daughter asked me if I would pick my grandson up so she could get a project done at work, she would come to get him in a half an hour. I was so happy to my grandson is an angel.
I could not believe my daughter decided she would come in and visit, I was so happy, My daughter never visits because my husband is so rude to her and my grand children.
What a step father! He can never even say hi when he sees my daughter or my grandchildren. He started cussing and telling us to shut up, yelling and acting like a fool. My husband is a piece of shit. His dogs get treated better than my daughter and my grandchildren. My husband treats his dogs with more respect. Dogs that bark every time some one passes by our house. He has never even raised his voice to his dogs. They wake him up all the time.

The only thing I can suggest is to move out. Why stay if things are this bad? You could then set up a gentle home where your grandchildren feel safe to visit. Also, you could then work on your own problems to find out why you had a man like this in your life. I'm not being judgmental, I have been in your position and it took a lot of honesty and courage to change it and not have someone else to blame for all of life's ills. It was something in me that decided it was ok to be with someone like my ex and while I couldn't change him, I could change myself. Good luck

If it was me I would leave but it isn't me it's you and I do know that leaving can sometimes be very hard. I think most of us have had a relationship that wasn't working in some form and we put up with it but what the others have said is right, you need to learn for you why you are putting up with this. Trust me life could be so much better. I'm alone with 7 young kids all still dependent with no partner and we do fine, we have each other. If you move out the relationship with your daughter and your grand children can only improve
