it all started with a $2 off coupon for a hair cut. I was only supposed to spend 22$. But then there was a massive sale on hair products. And my eyebrows were gross so I got them waxed. By the time I got to the register my total was $80 including a tip. I could cry right now. I still have to buy dog food and pay my bills. I might have $10 left by the time it's all over and I just got paid today. What the hell is wrong with me?! At least I have gas in my car. Oh boy. My hair is so soft and pretty now though

Well if you like the results, it can't be all bad. May the soft and pretty outlast the budget crunch.

I know how it feels to have very little money. I get paid tomorrow so that means pay rent and some bills. I need to get groceries and take my son out for sushi because I promised him. It is giving me anxieties just thinking about it. You are not the only one. Prices are outrageous for many things. Hugs!

If only I didn't indulge in $40 worth of hair products. I can explain a hair cut and eyebrow wax but I use my moms hair products so I don't need my own. I just love the way my hair feels after a salon visit

So you don't reward negative behavior and you take the hair products back. Their unused so you should be able to get your money back. That's one of the ways we deal with BiPolar spending....we don't keep the stuff like we deserve a prize for wiping out the checking account....we take back the stuff we shouldn't have bought and put the money back in the bank so you can live until your next paycheck.

'but i use my mom's hair products so i don't need my own.' that's the key sentence here. of course you need your own stuff but maybe not all at once. you're on the independence road and please stay on it for your own sake if you bought more than shampoo and conditioner then return the extra and maybe get a refund, if not then think about returning and going to target and buying something cheaper. you still have your beautiful haircut and that salon feel to enjoy and i am sure you look beautiful! we've all done the impulse buying, if you can pay your bills, buy your dog food and still have $10 you're doing ok! you'll survive till next week. don't beat yourself up.

Thanks guys. I did return the products and bought a cheaper set of shampoo and conditioner for a fraction of the salon price.

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
