I have one credit card that I use and pay it off monthly so I don't pay interest. Using this method I was able to pay off my house 7 year faster!!! So now I'm rolling in money..ha ha...but was able to pay for my oil in cash, thus earning a discount...that was an ouch 862.--, next will be house taxes and I'm saving for that come January.
If you are on medicad, get food stamps or any other state benefit, you qualify for food stamps, eletric or oil cost help, and internet savings...I only just learned about the internet and just got off the phone..yes Long Conversation...but now instead of paying 59.99 per month I'll be paying 29.99 a month! You are also a student so there may be other things you can apply for!
