can they tell what you are thinking or feeling? I feel as if they do so I wear tinted reading glasses all the time. It makes me feel more secure knowing that they can't interpret things that I don't want them to. Thanks for the feedback on this.

i just spent an evening wearing my sunglasses even though the sun wasnt up just to hide my eyes from the group i was in...didnt need anyone to tell that I had been crying and asking questions

If "they" is nonbeepers then no i don't think they can see usOr know where we've been. A beeper will know and understand.

No I don't think "they" get it, not even pdocs and such. Sometimes other beepers don't even get it. People who love you don't get it. Sometimes your dog gets it. And your soulmate always gets it but maybe that's all. Dogs and soulmates. Do I sound bitter today?

Hmmm.... sometimes I think my student CAN tell what I'm thinking by looking at my eyes (or just my demeanor in general.)

I agree with Evaloon. No one can tell when I'm in pain by looking into my eyes, except maybe my husband.

People may be able to tell when I'm manic by looking at me. Not necessarily my eyes, but the fact that I talk fast, jump from subject to subject, and am very animated with my hands and body language.

My hubby encourages me to stay home when I'm in this state so people don't think I'm weird and I don't say crazy things to people that I'll later regret.

Why are you asking this?? Did someone hit close to home by describing how you were feeling just by looking into your eyes? If you think so, I would be willing to bet that it had more to do with your body language than your eyes.

I used to believe this and wore tinted glasses myself. I came to realize that it isn't so. In order to read someone's eyes, that requires intelligence. So that rules out at least half of this country's population. A large portion of the remaining half eats nothing but fast food. So what you're left with are a small number of intelligent people and other bipolars, neither of which I am afraid of them knowing what I'm thinking.
