LOL, Dark. I agree, if they get our identity, they have to have it ALL darnit. The pills, the therapy, the mood swings, the mania, the depression and all the debt we might have.

Unfortunately, people who steal identities don't want anything but access to our finances. It's an interesting thought, though, that they'd have to assume everything negative about us!

They didn't get anything out of it, but I got triggered something awful. I had a couple of episodes. Thank God I wasn't at work for those.

That happened to me once. I felt like I was living for someone else. I happened to know who did it and got them busted so I was lucky. But even now I feel paraniod. It's a terrible crime. It should carry major prison time.

I was at uni in Scotland and was contacted by the English police.... I had missed my court date... charged with prostitution and selling drugs..... lol, thank f*ck they had finger printed and photo'd the real culprit.... was totally annoying and shows you how easy it can be...

Happened to a friend of mine. Just got some credit cards, and she fixed it easily, since they ordered the credit card at her old address.

This happened to my brother not long ago.

I had my identity stolen. A "friend" on mine from elementary school who I reconnected with in (get this!) the psych ward when I tried to kill myself (she was there for God knows what- I can't even remember) began hanging out again. She ended up stealing my checkbook,emptying my account and then proceeded to write thousands of dollars of bad checks. She even went to the bank and pretended to be me and because she knew the teller, he let her get away with it! I had all of these shops calling me and it wasn't until then I figured out I didn't have my checkbook- I'm a dumbass. I had to go to court with her and a bunch of other shop owners. She ended up having to give me my money immediately and had to make a payment plan with the others- she had to do all this community service because she was "mentally unstable" - however, she had done this before; she stole people's credit cards and maxed them out buying american expess gift cards so she couldnt be tracked- sneaky little bitch. people are just nuts. at least im an honest nuts.

lol... i'm not laughing at you its just the remark you made about them wanting you to take it back. If they were to get one of our identities they would be able to handle it. Sorry this has happened to you. And in response to the question is that I or anyone that I have ever known to my knowledge has ever experienced that. Hope you get it all worked out. That is such a terrible thing for someone to do.

My son lost his wallet once, or twice. I called TRW, Equinex, or the third one and discussed it with them. They then put out an alert on both our cards, blocking all useage. A password was needed.

The drivers license also put a code on it and a warning the police could pick up on.

It is only for a time limit so it went fast, but we were covered.

Got a phone call today from Royal Bank Visa
etc offering 6.9% interest

Do not give your credit card number to anyone over the phone hang up

Seriously though, it's never happened to me. The death penalty does have it's pros at times like this.

Alternatively, it would be interesting if they were forced to live the life of the identity of those whose identity they stole.

I don't think they could handle bipolar for a second lol.
