I know most of us realized we live with bipolar after years of people not liking us and/or understanding, therefore wanting to keep their distance. But it's been years, why can't people let it go? Especially family. I keep finding out through facebook I'm not invited places and not wanted. ALL of my siblings got together halfway across the country, and I found out through a mutual friends' facebook.

I know these are all rhetorical questions, but what does it take? Why does this disease have to take so much from us? It's times like these that I wish my disability was a physical one. I'd give up the ability to walk forever instead because wheelchairs don't ruin relationships.
