my dentist knows to gas me & send me the bill.
I have had whats called a dry socket.
That smarts & is a bloody mess.
sounds like hospital didn't want to step on another Dr toes and
they didin't want to fool with you.
I personal would not eat Anything nor drink creamy type drinks.
I Would Not wait until Tuesday. nor would I call the dentist.
I would pack me few bottles of water.
Darn right I would sign in and wait in Dentist office until he had a moment to see me.
I wouldn't care if O had to spend 9 hrs there. she/he would see me
before she/he left out the back door.
There is a so called thing that all dentist, dr's. hospital etc... offer. that is emergency care for/ on their client.
I wouldn't care what ft office says. I have only 1 body and I'm not into pain nor down time.
I would do all that I could do to prevent infection.infection that could effect my sinus cavity,
I would prevent remote possibility of infection dripping down bk of my throat.
I feel for you. your brave. hope your denist gave you some good pain med & med for -to prevent infection.
You have 1 body. protect it. take caharge of it. for get the white coat w wall plates , it's your body & you know it better than anyone.
Lot's of X's & spit bucket.
Again don't wait until Tue. Emergentcy is just that an emergentcy.
If Dr refuses simple drop hint that your having dinner w friends & 1 of 3 is an atty., the other works for core of engineers ( my brother really does work for core)
The denist will either refuse to see you but she/he won't risk even the slitice possibilty of law suit - darn liaibilitys & high insurance cost. business is business.
I'm glad you got some pain meds.
Hope you are soon on the way to recovery.
Marion
