Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
i think you might need a med tweak, or a med if you're not on medication. it sounds like you're exhausted.
i took clonazepam for a short time when i felt that way.
i hope you feel better soon. (hugs)
It sounds like a pattern by now, and I know you are taking your meds to help; it may be that something in your life is "askew", or causing anxiety by putting pressure on you when you don't even Realize it.
It may be time to make a list of All the stressful things going on, and decide if you can put one or more of them Aside for now, until the anxiety gets under control.
I remember how it was, Debs - I couldn't do a Thing for more than a year, then had to sloooooowly build back up to (what I call) "normal" - that took Another 2-3 years, sigh.
But it can be done. :)
Love ya - Mary Anne

I am pretty stable BP wise, but anxiety...yuck.
I wake up in the middle of the night with anxiety also.
I take more anti-anxiety meds than I do BP meds.
I try to use meditations and breathing to get a rope around my anxiety...I SOOOOO understand !
I ended up taking a Seroquel, per pdoc, he called me back. Since then I have been able to stop crying....which is a good thing cause my son was coming home from school and I didn't want him to see me like this.
I'm focusing on cooking dinner now and feel more calm since taking the seroquel.....sheeesh bipolar is a real bitch at times!!
Thanks for being here for me....it all helped! Not saying things are great but they are doable right now.......oxox to everyone!
Sorry you are feeling anxious! Anxiety is a bitch, isn't it? I take Ativan and it helps. Good Luck
