I have been on Geodon for about 6 months. So far I feel pretty good. Other than taking it with food its not too demanding. My mood got better and not as groggy as other meds. I have an easier time experiencing emotions meaning there is not a numb feeling. I do take it with a low dose of Zyprexa. As drugs go my judgements is fair. Hope this helps with your transition.

Geodon gave me heightened anxiety and I had to take other meds to combat that. Jennifer, everyone is different so don’t let others’ experiences shape your decisions. You are the navigator with your med team providing the best itineraries.

I was on Geodon for about 3 months it helped get rid of a "mixed state" that would not resolve. It helped me get through a very stressful period of taking and failing "intermediate algebra." Geodon was both enervating and calming at the same time. Although I couldn't stay on it for a long time it really helped me.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
