Hello, last year I was diagnosis with Bipolar disorder. I have been taking Seroquel and have found it takes the edge off my moods....but I must admit I miss the Highs. I also found I sleep much better, but can get a nasty hangover. One last thing is that i find myself terribly depress and I can't shake it.

maybe they could lower your serequel a bit. My doc lets me be a lil manic but not enough to cause problems. We tweak my meds up and down as needed. Then you might not be so hungover. another thing is to thik about the serequel lasting at least 12 hrs so you could take it earlier in the eve to unwind you and then it will wear off earlier. I am on a similar med and I took mine at 6:30 then I will be fine to get up at 6:30.

why no mood stabilizer with Seroquel?

Since your popping pills anyway, an anti-dressant is in order, plenty to choose from, but if you get manic at all a mood stabiliser would be in order...once again another long list to try.

Btw Seroquel worked well for me for 18 months till it could no longer hold me.
