Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I guess you can never start too young to get support. But if he thinks this is just for fun and entertainment....then I don't think it would be beneficial to him.

Agreee with nibblet this is not a site for kids in my view its concern
deleted_user

Chuggernaught
Well he would only be allowed on at certain times by his mother... and he knows what this is all about through me.

Am I wrong to think that there's no reason to burden him further at his age. We don't want him to think this is all he has to look forward to. Are there youth sites that would br more appropriate/helpful. I tend to nurture and "mother" and i want what is BEST for him, as you do, I'm sure!
Chuggernaught
I didn't ask him to join, he liked chatting with a friend on here and he likes it. I'm sure he would only be allowed on Teen BP site
Tamara999
There's a TeenBP site? That's so cool!!

Well you corrupt the adults why not the youth too - LOL...

I dont think it is corrupting at all Chuggs...It is giving him the opportunity to be supported by a group of people that really know what BP is like...What a wonderful gift to give him...
