I lost my pdoc

I can't see my current because the agency I see her at will no let me see her anymore since i do not have a therapist there. I have been looking for months now. Pdocs are hard to find.

I'm so sorry. I lost my therapist and I am absolutely heart broken. You're right, a good one is hard to find. Do you at least have enough meds to get by till you find a new Pdoc?

tell me about it! You can't even find one after a suicide attempt. Trust me, it happend to my stepson last month. I was appalled.
Can you see a therapist in the group of docs? This way you can keep your pdoc.
My new Pdoc....I had to wait 3 months for an appt. What the hell is going on with mental health care???

I have enough for about one month, but my PCP will provide me more on a short time if I need it.. I have been seeing her for about six years and I have been seeing my therapist for about five years.. It would be harder to lose my therapist.

i too have just lost my pdoc of ten years who was available 24.7 and an absolute dote. the new guy is crap. I saw a new tdoc the other day and she was lovely only to find out she is moving from that job and i wont see her again. why bother seeing me at all?

It can be SO hard to find a pdoc. OY! I've been at the same mental health agency for 9 years and have been tossed from on pdoc to the next. I really like the one i have now and hope i don't get tossed again.

Pdocs are so hard to find! The one Ihave kinda sucks but there is no other options. The two others I know of that are covered under my insurance are full. It sucks

Yes. I encountered that....pdocs not taking any new patients. That's why I had to wait 3 months to finally see one. It's deplorable. Would they make you wait 3 months for an Oncologist?

When I call them they are full, don't take my insurance, I'm not with their agency or they are not wheelchair accessible. Sometime they say call back next month then next month and so on.

It seems to be tough everywhere. I know that one of my meds ability is dangerous to stop cold turkey I don't know what can be done.

I finally found a pdoc after 5 months and so far I like her.

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
