I get grouchy if I am all pluged up.
Some days we are just going to feel bad and that is that....it passes....try not to focus everything on "the mood", keep busy. I get the same way.......put a word on it like you did "angry" accept it as just that and don't let it raliroad you. ((hugs))
I never did get birth control; I was always afraid. Nowadays, I don't get the hormonal attacks I used to. I often wonder if the lithium had to completely leave my body for me to normalize my cycle and all that.
I still get PMDD but I've matured a lot and I have new coping mechanisms and better nutrition that helps.
The tiredness and headaches...and stressors will cause that crying and mood swing stuff. Tuna, low sodium V-8 and extra calcium always helped me during "that time." Pain relievers also help.
For me personally, I like the newer mood stabilizers and temporary use of a benzodiazapene during really difficult times, but always check with the doctor.
