Thanks! I just cried my eyes out to my (somewhat supportive) mother and my ex called me and he's like the best person in the world to make me laugh- So I'm feeling better now. :)

How has it been for you, Brian? How do you cope?

I was dx'd with brain tumor and 2 weeks later fibro - it was wicked bad at the onset - both knees in braces had to use cane and on maitence daily steroids plus pain meds . . . . massive weight gain due to the steroids

About 16-18 months into it and having been on alot of narcotic pain meds I told the neurologist no more I cant take it . He told me to go buy a bag of weed and boy was he right

In 2007 after hearing from the ortho I needed to loose weight (gee ya dont fucking say) I tossed the steroids . I have been on the suppoosed fibro meds - lyrica worked for while but in the end nope

As of today am on Lamictal (used both as mood stabilizer and nerological pain reliever as also have nerve damage pain) weed and one other but escapes me which (havent reflled in while so truly clueless)

Have not used my knee braces or cane in 2 years and tho my knees are hardest hit I will go out of this life without using them again if at all possible

Water therapy has been a God send and when I am not able to find physical therapist that offers it hot baths daily are a fantastic replacement

I'm so sorry, Man. I have two knee braces, had surgery on my left knee. I go for an MRI of my spine on the 14th. Blah blah. I'm on Nucynta atm and that is seeming to help. I have been quite the pot-head in my teens (I just turned 23), but I cannot smoke it anymore. It makes me hallucinate!

Nothing to be sorry for I have other things wrong that are killing me the fibro is not what will take me out it just has fucked up day to day living - I rewrote that and plodded on no biggy
