I'm so pissed off. Livid. I got a different doctor to speak to today and she was a total bitch trying to tell me I'm NOT bipolar. She wasn't even much help. All she did was sit back and stare at me. No real questions and she looked at me like I was bullshitting. SHE GAVE ME ANTI-DEPRESSANTS. I'm not going to take Prozac. I've heard horrible things about it so this subscription slip can sit on my desk for all i care.

I don't get it! Why did my doctor change and if it had to then why doesn't she have my files or the notes the other lady had written of me?! This one I saw today didn't write anything down on her note pad or whatever it was. To me she was just plain rude.

We talked for about 20 minutes. I felt like waking up so early and freaking out over this visit was a complete waste of my time.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?

Time for a new pdoc, ugh. Do whatever you can to see someone else. I've had some real jerks too. I've had to deal with bitchy, rude, stupid, and those that are scared of me. Some people just choose the wrong profession. Try not to take it to personally (I know that's hard). If you can't see someone else ask her questions and tell her how you feel. Ask her why she feels that you aren't bipolar. Have you been on anti-depressants and gotten manic before? It's not a fun experience but it should definitely prove to her that you are bipolar (no matter how stupid she is). Argue but do it nicely. When she says something you don't like speak up. If she doesn't say anything to you ask her questions to start a conversation. Try not to be angry with her for being stupid, we all have our issues, at least ours can be medicated, lol. :-)

i'm so sorr about this, some people become pdocs and have no business anywhere near the medical profession, stuck at home has given you great advice, i really cannot think of anything to add to that, but am sending warm hugs and good thoughts your way

I called the office to complain about my doctor. Turn out they have given me different doctor on purpose. I'm supposed to according to them to have another different on on my next visit to another office supposedly closer to where i live. Ever heard of this? Why give me three different doctors only to transfer me?!?
