I finally got the job at the store. The apparel dept position was dull but not too bad.
Now, they have me on cashier and I hate it so much I'm rage filled. I went to Vocational Rehab to find what career I was meant for. They agreed, at first, That I should have an artistic career but put me in customer service.
I shouldn't be doing this type of job anymore. I have been flashbacking to the awful customer service jobs I has in the past. This is going to drive me straight to suicide. I don't know what to do know one listens to me.
It's nice having the extra money but it feels like a piece of my soul dies when I'm at work.
I want to punch my son in the face for not getting a job! I don't care if has Asperger's!

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Customer service is the hardest of all jobs. Do what you can to tread water and put an application in for every job you can think of in the mean time.
Try not to take any of it personally, save every penny you can so if you have to leave work you will have something to tie you over.
When you have time off do everything you can for you. Practice all the stress reduction you can every single day. Yes it seems unless you have multiple degrees this is what you do....I'm sorry that you have to withstand it but come up with a plan of getting out of it...And vote!!!!
Smile. Even if you aren’t feeling it just do it anyway and the act of smiling alone can be a sort of I know that’s tough when we’ve dealt with bp and depression for too long..... but I swear I think of it like an almost sort of yoga move.... physical movement that helps me feel better, or cope better I should say. It’s like positive energy armor. If you encounter someone rude or awful you did your part of offering courtesy and there is nothing they can complain about.
Anyway, I am sorry to hear you’re feeling such frustration. I get it. Stay strong, take breaks and relax, your hard work in life does not go Unrecognized. Venting helps. Customer service is a heavy load but with the right support it can help get to the next steps.
I hope you encounter a wonderful customer soon who makes your day so much better.
