My husband sucks he has to hate himself. He does not know how to love anything but dogs.
My daughter came over to my house with my 4-year old grandson. My daughter does not visit often because my husband is a pathetic ass hole. My husband works third shift granted ,but had slept more than 8 hours. My grandson's preschool is five minutes from my house. My daughter asked me if I would pick my grandson up so she could get a project done at work, she would come to get him in a half an hour. I was so happy to my grandson is an angel.
I could not believe my daughter decided she would come in and visit, I was so happy, My daughter never visits because my husband is so rude to her and my grand children.
What a step father! He can never even say hi when he sees my daughter or my grandchildren. He started cussing and telling us to shut up, yelling and acting like a fool. My husband is a piece of shit. His dogs get treated better than my daughter and my grandchildren. My husband treats his dogs with more respect. Dogs that bark every time some one passes by our house. He has never even raised his voice to his dogs. They wake him up all the time.

He sounds scary and his dogs are being trained in a similar way. How brave of your daughter to attempt a visit which shows she cares about you but how appauling that her son was so scared of this man.
His gut reaction is right. No man or women should come between the relationships that exist between family.
Ditch him he is awful and scary and jealous and so uncaring to you.
Please respect yourself enough to accept his behavior as wrong not just towards others, but ((you)).
Why miss out on family because of him? What's it worth?
I suspect your loved ones can't stand the dude, can't stand the way he must treat you. You deserve better .. noone should feel the way you do about their partner and tolerate it.
There's a better way to live... hope you can not only realize that, but take steps to stop the insanity.

he reminds me of my husband a bit. my husband is polite face to face to my family but behind their back he insults them for not giving us money to pay for our house. he is sort of delusional in thinking that he should get money since he does not financially share the house with me and yes I pay my own bills.
does your daughter say anything to him, like hi?
his behavior is scary to say the least. he can't handle human contact. sorry to hear this.
it boils down to ....do you want your grandkids around or your husband. or...can he get medicated?
