As soon as she had recovered from her ex, she would have been off with the first guy who caught her eye and dumped you, or worse, done it behind your back.
You are well rid of her and its not surprising you feel down after being offered something nice which turned out to be complete shit.
Well done for standing up for yourself and not falling for her crap.
Give yourself time to heal over the betrayal and disappointment. You deserve better.
Can't relationships be complicated and sucky sometimes? I think it's natural for you to be upset that your ex-girlfriend axed you as a friend on Facebook since you had agreed that pursuing a romantic relationship again wasn't in the cards for you two. But that shouldn't require the dramatic steps she took. Says alot about her.
Try to look at the situation like a medium-sized speed bump in your road to recovery. Keep taking your meds and working with your support team to regain your balance. You can do this!!
You went in with some honest hopes and she turned out to be using you for her own personal gain without any regard for you as a person. That was awful for her to do. With friends like that who needs enemies?
You seem to be dealing with it pretty well considering. Its great that you were able to stand up for yourself and set boundries - get the hell out of there.
The best you can do is to not beat yourself up for something that wasnt your fault and be patient with yourself in getting over this.
You seem to be an awesome guy. Be gentle with yourself.
Yes, you do deserve better!
