Since I started Seroquel 2 weeks ago my concentration & memory has gone downhill. It has already been a problem because of depression, stress, etc...maybe ADD as well. But everything is steadily getting worse. I can't get my thoughts together, my speech gets mixed up and I'm slow to get concepts in conversation. I get confused. My head feels in a fog & I feel a dull ache, even a hot feeling, in the front of my skull & my forehead. Has anyone else experienced this?

Not on seroquel. Talk to your doc, soon!

I've experienced the memory, concentration, and speech mix up on Seroquel. I am now in the process of transitioning to Geodon.

It sounds like you are over medicated. Get to your pdoc ASAP!

I've only been taking 25mg until 3 days ago I went up to 50mg. Last night I skipped it altogether. The headache might be from being on the computer too much lately, but the rest is definitely the meds. My doctor is away for 2 weeks.

are you taking Seroquel during the day or just for sleep?

my memory is so bad its starting to scare the crap outta me. i sometimes get "stuck" unable to move. i'll be walking and just stop and go into this kinda trance. i have most of the symtoms you have. im on 300mg of seroquel
LisaJill
I'm taking it at night for bi-polar. It tends to make me sleepy, which is why I take it at night.

Thats a small dose (imho) so calling the pdoc wouldn't be a bad idea. Of course they may tell you to just wait it out lol, but at least then you called.

daftoptmst, that sounds really scary. When I read about tardive dyskinesia, this drug scares me to death. After a week on seroquel, my heart started racing, I felt nauseous & panicky, and one night my jaw went really rigid & my whole body felt weird...I kept tensing up my muscles, had this feeling of crawling out of my own skin. After a few days those effects went away, so I went up to 50mg. That's when I realized how bad the confusion & speech mix-up was getting. I feel like I'm turning stupid!
