I'm just curious.  Has anyone been hypnotized?  If you have, what was it like?

I have it was kind of like the relaxation that comes with meditation....

I have thought about getting hypnotized many times. My mom tried to hypnotize me once but it didn't work. I can understand why.

me too but i'd hate to be that vulnerable. i'd have to totally trust the person and have the session recorded anyway for my peace of mind. Are you thinking of trying it?

I was hypnotized by my pdoc! To quit smoking. It did nothing.

I'm afraid of being too open and vulnerable. I don't think (other than my husband) I trust anyone to put me out like that. Love to hear how it goes, though!

Went to hypnotherapy as child. For some people is works, and that's great. My experience is below.
It was hooey then and still seems to be to me. I even cassette recorded the sessions and there was nothing relaxing or made better by it. I wasn't in some trance or anything.

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
