Decided to show some interesting facts about a certain behavior that many seem to think only belong to humans.
We are the only species that kill it's own kind.
BZZZZZZZZT WRONG
As a matter of fact, almost every species kills it's own kind and for the same reasons.
"Are you telling me that cute little Koala bears are killing each other for jewelery and money?"
Well, no. But it is usually for real estate gain. The number one killer of wolves (Aside from humans) is Wolves. Male lions in the Serengeti will challenge for other lions for the pride. And if the challengers win, they kill every lion cub IN the pride so they can make new ones as their OWN Progeny.
Chimpanzees will kill one another just to prove a damn point. (kind of sounds familiar, huh?)
You can pick nearly ANY species of animal and get similar results. (Although I would PERSONALLY pay to see a Sloth fight.)
So.... Do you know any Human Myths?

Truth:
Bonobo monkeys masturbate. Probably so do others. Maybe even cockroaches.
Myth: We're the only species that communicates. That is wrong on so many levels. My dogs make at least ten sounds that I can recognize, from frightened yips to pained yips to angry barks and happy barks, and even I, a mere human, can tell them apart.
With regard to dog and other higher mammals, they can communicate good, bad, happy and sad
We just add modifiers, "I'm very happy." Hmm, maybe no difference there either. When the dog is really happy, the whole body wags.
MAN has obliterated them off the face of North America.
They (Timber & Gray Wolves) once roamed all the way down into the center of Mexico, with populatoins estimated as high as a couple million.
