Can you believe that piece of luck?? I knew there was a bad reason that he was at home on a Tuesday at 3:30. He got his seperation notice from work. Can't sign up for unemployment until the 19th. On the 19th, he will get his two weeks pay, a week's vacation pay and two week's severance pay. We gotta stretch it out and make it last until he starts getting his unemployment.
We will be okay. I draw enough disability to pay our bills and have a little extra left over. That will likely go toward rolling tobacco, snuff and gas. I am going to sign us up for food stamps. We'll make it. Have to. No choice.

You know that I was on unemployment for about two years. This past summer my unemployment ran out and I was left with 0 income. luckily I found a job just as all the bills were coming due but it was a rough couple of months. I can understand what you're going through. Let me know if I can do anything for you.
My husband got laid off once a week after we had our son. That was really crappy.
Sounds like you have it all worked out though! That's great. Crummy timing though :(
