I have been on lithium for three months and a month ago my dosage was at a theraputic level. It has been a week and i feel great! How long has it taken ya'll to feel better?

It would take a month or two to get a therapeutic level - but when I do, I NOTICE the difference : )

I got to therapeutic levels in like 7 days, but I was inpatient so it was done very quickly

Ha ha ha, just kidding. Lithium never worked for me though.

so glad you are feeling better!! My pdoc says most meds take a good six weeks for full effect and it tends to be true for me. I didn't do so well on lithium either but doing great on other meds. Keep up the happiness!!!!

So glad ur back on track and feeling better.
For me , I adjust fast with meds.
I do feel better now!
I'm on Paxcil and lamictal and kolonipin.
finally found the meds for me.
BUT
everyone is different , reaction to meds ect ..
just glad ur in the right place now !
