I'm feeling grand today... and I had a good day too!! I've a little pep in my step which is always a pleasure

I bought some beautiful Matthew Williamson bed linen... and in the sale to boot.. so instead of 70 it was 21!!! so I'm pretty chuffed :)

That's just great Rubes, so good to hear you are doing well. It's so great to get a grand deal huh?

I'm doing just fantastic, still on vacation, just got back from an amazing family camp trip, there was 24 of us in total, lots of fun for 4 days =0) So beautiful & oh so peaceful, our campsite was right on the lake, so very nice.

Just hanging out at the library, trying to stay out of the heat. Will have to go when they close and find something to eat. Then off to my sleeping spot. It's the same routine every day. Nothing changes.

I'm feeling very lost today. Today is very slow. I'm feeling spacey and sleepy and I've felt this way for the past month. I never had my angioplasty because the entity that would have funded it withdrew the funding.

I'm waiting on a trailer to open up and I'm waiting to see if I can get my arterial blockages unclogged.

My husband has a form of depression and he grew up in an educated but poor family and it is hard because everything is just "tough crap."

So, I'm surviving, living in denial over my possible future diagnoses and living every day in a quiet nightmare that I cannot escape from.

Doing great mentally though I've been fighting off a migraine all day - hoping it doesn't go full blown. Hate going to the drs and convincing them I need a shot of Toradol. They think that since I'm an addict I shouldn't get one, although Toradol is just an anti-inflammatory. Baffles me. Sure I'd take Dilaudid if I had a choice, just kidding, not really. No, seriously, Toradol kicks butt and does the job 9 out of 10 times and I don't have to go to the ER.

Tell ya what, I'd take a migraine every day over mental pain. No contest.

I'm sorry I don't quite understand, are you harming yourself?

I have my arm destroyed from cutting it. i can't seem to stop this time. the heart is gone out of me. every monday I have to deal with my brother's heartbreak when his girlfriend leaves for the week. tonight he cried yet again and said 'i wish i could pick up my mat and go home to helen' I just keep telling him to try not to lose heart. we'll all get there in the end. I held the phone to his ear twice so that he could talk to her during visiting hours and that helped and i'll bring the computer over tomorrow evening so he might be able to skype her which will help too. I'm applying for housing for him at the moment and he thinks she will move in with him, she's nowhere near that playing field at this point. his prognosis is not good to walk again but we are not giving up hope. I don't know what to say to him, the council are willing to do up the house next door to mine for him but he wants a house fifteen mins away near helen with a view to her moving in which is not on the cards any time soon. I wouldn't be able to afford to go to him every day if he lived in her town but she would be passing through my town three or four times/week anyway so she could visit him. I just do not know what to do.

Hi Dee. I worked a few hours at the Hospice office this morning (volunteer doing data entry). We had a large wall mirror replaced in our bathroom this afternoon. This evening, hubby and I went to visit a friend at the hospital. She fainted the other day, pulse down to 30--Ambulance came--scary. She's a bit better but Docs are running all kinds of tests, found something but still don't know what's wrong. Personally, I've been doing quite well for over a week--I am so thankful for it. I had forgotten what "normal" feels like.

Irish, I'm so very sorry for all you are going through, I'm sorry I'm at a loss for words. Hope you can, make your brother understand the best place for him is by you. My heart goes out to you.
