This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I have been diagnosed with Bipolar 1 and Panic Disorder since 2004. I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder in 2012. In April I was diagnosed with PTSD. Wednesday I was diagnosed with Intermittent Explosive Disorder. I feel like a walking freak. I don't know what to think about all this and how to cope with it. I have been to two psych docs and they both agree that I'm dealing with all of the above.I can't get it out of my mind. Any ideas on how to deal with multiple diagnoses? Please help!

Mom and I have errands to run this morning. She said we can get sushi for lunch though. I go back to work today. What are you looking forward to this weekend?

Quick, before the evil MONday gets here! Let's climb those mountains, dance in the meadows, dip our feet in the ocean....Okay, so most of us won't be doing any of That. Sadly. But today can still be a great day!The area behind our back fence is on an incline, with less than two feet on even ground at the top. I don't balance well enough for the incline, but our mower guy mows that...

Sorry I don't have a better answer for you.
You might want to look at the site psychecentral and type in multiple diagnosis. Sorry I just don't know much about it. Good Luck!!
Take each one separately and learn as much as you can about the separate issues.

I know that labels aren't everything (sometimes they don't mean a thing) and it's more important to treat the symptoms than anything else. But it is soothing to have a name to put to what you're suffering from. Try researching and learning more about these new diagnoses and share what you've learned with your pdoc. Share your knowledge and your concerns. Do you agree with your new diagnoses?
Wishing you the best! ((((HUGS))))
I can only say what has helped me. I have BP, DID and PTSD. I have a very good therapist, that I see every week and my pdoc has me on a good combination of meds.
It can take some time to come to acceptance of the dxs.
Good luck
