I have tried every SSRI and SNRI out there along with numerous anti-psychotics and mood stabilizers. The few that made a difference gave me really bad side effects so I had to stop taking them. FINALLY was put on Parnate (MAOI) and although it causes severe insomnia it really helped with my depression HOWEVER it's making me really manic! Just went to my psych this morning and I'm going to try Thorazine but all the reviews I read say it's seriously sedating and I don't want to become a zombie (again). The problem is, I actually like when I'm a little manic, it helps me get up and do things, go to the store on my own, go visit friends on my own, etc. Anyway, is anyone taking Thorazine? Any advice?

Here is my new brother, copper :) He's so tiny! Moo and Tuck were ok with him on first meeting. Rocket due to his severe aggression will never meet Cooper.

Think of your perfect scenerio - For me tasting a light form of mania but getting some sleep is what i am after personally. Worst case scenerio - Zombie/weight gain or dangerous psyhoisis.
