I'm not ok. I'm usually ok, even when I'm not. I don't like people to worry about me. I don't want to talk to anyone. Not friends or family. I think about suicide ALL the time. I want to cut, but I haven't...trying to not spark another fight with my fiance. No one understands. Not even the entirety of my my beeper family understands.
I know I should be in the hospital. I should've been in there a while ago. But I have no one to watch my kids. So it's not even an option. I'm unmedicated. I've been so for about a month and a half. And slowly but surely I'm deteriorating. It took me a couple of months to even find a pdoc, now I have to wait until Dec. 1 for my appointment. I'm not sure if it's just an intake appt. or if I'll actually see a pdoc. Who knows when I'll be on meds again?
I feel like I'm not going to make it. Something is going to happen. Whether or not it's by my own hand, I don't know. I'm trying my hardest to hang in there and trying to just read books so I don't have to face life. I don't do anything anymore. I don't have fun. I don't even know how to have fun anymore. Anything to brighten my spirits? Any advice on how to get through another couple of weeks of agony? Anything...would be appreciated.

Can you call the pdoc and ask to be put on a waiting list for a cancellation? Explain to them what you have told us so they know how you are feeling.
I wish I had more for you but most of depression is a constant battle and waiting for it to pass. Please know we are here for you. Hugs
when i get bad i have to go to the doc that day and no, hospital isnt option for me either. i have sat in the er all day, to walk out with no help. there is a "mental er" in some areas, that will get you started with meds... or try a good general who is willing to write scripts you have had success with in the past. if these arent options either... i understand. i now have to wait a while to be seen here too... i feel for you.
I was in a bad way a little bit ago and out of meds too. I went to the hospital and the primary p-doc is out of the country 'til next week. I went to my PCP (emergency appt.)and told them the problem and she wrote me a prescription with enough meds to last until the p-doc comes back. She said if he's booked an I can't get an appt. right away she'll write me another precription.
