This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Got home from the hospital yesterday. This stay was 10 days, the longest I ever spent in the hospital. I know some people spend much longer in the hospital but that was long enough for me. Being out in the real world feels weird but I know I just have to get used to it again. Time has no meaning when your in the hospital, we spent our days going to groups, eating, sleeping, talking, pacing the halls or watching TV. Anyway, the point of this is to send out a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has shown me kindness, support and friendship. I am so fortunate to have such a wonderful support system. You guys are the best! I came home to several hugs and messages and that made me feel like I was missed which made me feel good. Oh, and according to the doctor I saw in the hospital I also have borderline personality disorder. Not sure what to think about that. I suppose Its just one more thing to deal with. I don't feel like I'm out of the woods yet but I do feel much better so the hospitalization was worth it. I feel like I can handle things in my life better. Time will tell. I'm taking a few days off before going back to work. I hope Im ready when I do go back. As I was saying before, I am truly grateful for all of you here on DS, thanks for being there for me.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Good self-advocacy!
So good to see you back:)
