Holy Spirit Counseled Borderline D/O

Hey guys. Hope your Saturday is shaping up to be a fine one in all ways and that you are feeling somewhat well. ShadowSteve's post reminded me of my experience with borderline personality disorder and Jesus and I Just wanted to share. Not pushing anything on anyone at all. Just sayin'. I believe that I used to have borderline personality disorder about four or five years ago, but that through the Holy Spirit and counseling from Jesus, that I overcame that diagnosis. I used to have a good strong dose of the Holy Ghost as we country folks call it at times, but through the effects of sin and meds within my life, not so much anymore. Anywho, any thoughts on this topic of mine? Have a wonnerful Saturday and may God bless you in all things.

whatever gets you through the night.

However, a medical professional is not the person to push religion an a patient. (unless this patient is Religious & comforted by such talk- but it's a fine line)

I totally agree with that. Me and My pdoc talk God/Satan/religion at times when I bring it up, but only when I bring it up.

Yeah, cool. My fave Pdoc (he died) used to discuss fantastic (and applicable to my problems) Yiddish Proverbs with me- good times x

I think meds do dull our senses for sure...
I remember when Mom was so sick.. I really felt lost and alone.. I talked to a minister and told him I just don't feel God anymore..
He said you don't have to feel him.. You just have to know that he's there..
Even Mother Theresa had her darkest hour...xo

the bible talks about jesus healing the sick, so if you're a believer and feel that jesus healed your BPD, it doesn't sound as far-out as it does to me, who isn't a believer.

    Woke up feeling very emotional and about to clock in at my place of employment. And can't place it all in writing but not been a good experience with my store manager or his boss. Defamation of my character is a concern. I've been losing appetite and weight. Trying to perform at work to keep myself from hospitalization as a result of toxic masculinity.
