Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I know it's been a week since 4th of July for those of us who live in America. I've been noticing for awhile now that my family doesn't get together for holidays anymore. Holidays make me depressed now. They just mean more work for me and spending more money I can't afford. They bring me no joy anymore. I just don't give a crap. It's just another day to me.
I don't know what my brother's family does on holidays. My dad's live in girlfriend comes up with reasons on why we can't get together. She spends it with her family.
They can do what they want. I don't really care.
Do any of you feel like this?

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

There we go... thats better. Probably the other thing I'd like to say is the very best of luck with developing or keeping your self support where you are OK with this... or maybe discover a new frame or way to get some fun out of what you do do on holidays anyway.
I don't really have family anymore but I do miss the holiday get together's ... What about pot luck?.... Then no one person is expected to do all of the work.... If there are in laws to share holidays with just do it the week before or week after... I used to do this when I was married ....
I'm sorry that you're feeling low......xo
