Oh love, deep breath. He was wrong to lie to you, very very wrong in the worse possible way. it blows my mind that someone would do that, I am so sorry this is happening to you. I am guessing that you were fluid bonded with him from you post. Its an utter violation of your trust and love and you have every right to feel this way.
Please bear in mind that a single negative result at this point is not a true indication of a negative status. You need to follow up and get a second test 6 months from now, at least. I had an exposure at work (blood splatter in my eye) and on top of taking the evil anti-viral's I am required to do several blood tests in stages over a year. My baseline, one at 6 weeks, one at 3 months, at 6 months and then at the year mark. Please please use protection from now on. I wish you luck.

Right now all you need to do is one thing...Trust God. He is holding you in the palm of His hand. While I know its hard to think positively, just remind yourself that your life has a purpose and whatever the outcome, you WILL be ok. I have been in your situation, and it turned out ok, but I know you are scared. I will say a prayer for you right now. Good good for you for reaching out for help, do it as much as you can/need to. 20 years ago testing positive yes would have been an almost certain death sentence but so much has changed on that scene and I know of plenty of people that have lived HIV positve for many many years without it becoming full blown aids.

Now not saying this man shouldnt be held partially responsible but you are a grown woman and if there was any chance - and there always is because of the fact that the virus can lay dormant for years then its also up to you to protect yourself.

God has nothing to do with this in my opinion sorryl. God does not go around handing out bad terrible things in response to bad behavior. Its a fact of life bad shit happens sometimes to good people. Fair? nope but when we enter this world we dont get that guarantee.

I am not making light of the situation and I seriously hope your tests come back clean each and every time - sol is correct those tests need to happen routinely for now.

Thank you all for your support! I know god is with me and yes I have not made the best decisions. I do not feel the same hopelessness as I did yesterday. I don't even blame my boyfriend! This could've happened to anyone and I plan to stick by his side regardless of my status. God knows I've put myself in risker situations than this. I've read the facts and I know what kind of a wait I am in for even if the first test is negative. I have no regrets.. I am in love with the sob and I can't hold this against him. We need each other now more than ever! Please pray for us... I do believe god is on our side.
