Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Good luck
My advice would be to get to know us better on the board.
Offering help may not be safe for you or others. Dependency can develop and sometimes people will talk about suicide which puts alot of pressure on you and can lead to all sorts of problems.
This is a peer support group and as Community Leader I always tell members to be wary of those offering help without sharing about themselves. We've had trainee counsellors, researchers, sellers of miracle cures, various religious groups turn up and attempt to use the board inappropriately. I'm sure you don't fall into any of those categories but understand our longer term members are likely to be suspicious of unilateral offers.
So please, talk to us on the board first and tell us something about yourself.
Mark, Bipolar Community Leader.
Let's hope he(?) replies.
"hi, people are asking for you to share something about yourself on the "Hi there" thread you posted on the Bipolar board. Would you reply please?
As your profile is set to private we don't know anything about you, basic stuff, age, man, woman, where you are from, whether you are bipolar etc. Replying with that kind f information would help you become part of the community, we would like to hear further from you!
regards Mark, Bipolar Community Leader "
Having reviewed your profile I have decided for now to close this post, subject to DS review.
