I was at my friends the night after hollowen and I left a klonopin laying on the table, and I thought someone stole it. Out from the corrner came the cat stumbling and wabbling around on its back paws. Red eyed and all. It was funny but sad at the same time. We did't know if the cat was going to make it or not but we tried keeping it up and it wouldn't stop eating. Finally it got to standing on all 4 legs. It went to sleep that night and woke up alive. Thank god. I felt kinda guilty about it , but it was a bit of a laugh. It was a 2mg pill also.

Would be interesting to see if the cat would do same thing again. I don't mean let it take the pills but would be interesting to leave em in same place and watch from a distance to see if it steers clear. Poor cat must have went throo hell. I know I have with some of the drugs. LOL

Thank Heavens it was only one pill! Any more than that probably would have killed the poor thing! Take an animal to the emergency vet if anything like that happens again.

that poor baby, Do what i do, keep your pills in a weekly or monthly container. that way, you know exactly where your pills are, and also, if you took that day's pills.

I was thinking of recording it and sending it in to america's funniiest videos but I think they would know it was under the infuluence of something. It was pretty messed up. Couldn't walk a straight line for anything.

Poor kitty. I'm glad it is OK. Reminds me of the time when I was a kid and my dad used to make wine. Well, this one batch he made he put raisins in. After it had fermented he threw all the raisins out in the back yard. Next thing we know the dog is wobbling around the backyard, falling over , stumbling. I was crying, my brother was laughing. It turns out , of course, that he ate the raisins and got drunk.

When I was a teenager, my friends and I used to party and her dog became a bit of an alcoholic...it started when we would leave our drinks lying around...he would drink out of them....before you knew it, he was hunting them down at every parting, jonsing for his next drink...yeah, it got pretty bad...especially since my friends house was the party house!!!!

    Happy Tuesday. I only have a few tasks today. I'm currently enjoying my coffee and checking social media and emails. It's gonna be almost 90 degrees today so I have to monitor the dogs outside activities  How's Tuesday looking for you?
