So I was told today that I may not have bipolar disorder which concerns me because I have all the signs for it except for the manic episodes. So if I dont have manic episodes....what do I have? I get depressed and then all of a sudden Ill be happy be on top of the world, have lots of energy and then someone will say something to me and ill be very angry. Anybody have any thoughts? I've been taking cymbalta but that isnt fully helping. Here I go through another med trial.

It depends on what you mean by "manic" - if you mean true mania then you can still be BP2 which is possibly half of the people here.
