Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I realize that getting help may be costly, but if you have serious thoughts of killing your husband and your self that is a true emergency. Which is worse your husband yelling at you or your husband dead because you killed him? Think of your poor son if you did that? He would be devastated and traumatized!
Some times you need to put your mental health before every thing else or you will lose everything else in the process. Are you on meds? Where are psychiatrist and therapist? They should have emergency services available for you as well. Also last time I checked crisis intervention was free.
If it was me and getting to a doctor was impossible I would use over the counter sleep medication to try sleep it off.
Breathe, stay away from triggering people as much as you can.
Hugs, MG
I know you say the ER is not an option but that is just how you are thinking of it. If you were bleeding to death would it not be an option then? Don't wait until you are bleeding to death to go to the ER by then it may be too late!
