I know it’s been a while since I posted. Life got away with me once again. I started working for a drug testing lab recently. What an eye-opener that is! It is a very interesting job, never a dull moment. It isn’t paying the bills very well though, and I’m in a very weird money situation. I filed for disability through a recommended attorney. The problem with this is I can’t make over a certain amount of money or they will not go forward with trying to win my claim. I have a lot going on physically, as well. I have to see a cardiologist and November. I have been experiencing severe leg and foot swelling and shortness of breath. I had a cardiac ultrasound that showed a dilated left ventricle, which from what my primary Care doctor said, it is probably heart failure. So I’ve been on Lasix, to make me Shed the extra water. I also was diagnosed with ADHD And was put on Adderall. It’s extended release. This job that I’m working has very weird shift. If I work the morning shift, I have to be there by 5 AM, which means I have to be up at 4 AM. It’s been really screwing up my sleep schedule. I have to take my meds no later than 8 o’clock. This week, I am scheduled to work both the morning shift and evening shift on Thursday AND Friday. That means I won’t get out of work at about nine, and then I will have to be there again at five in the morning. That does not leave much time for sleep, and I’m kind of worried about it, but I don’t really have any other choice right now. And also went to see a knee doctor today. He said that I definitely need a double Knee Replacement. Ideally this is the best situation because I’m on Medicaid and it wouldn’t cost me anything. However, I do not have any sick time or vacation time at the current job that I have. I feel trapped. If I make too much money I lose Medicaid and any possible disability. But if I stay at the amount that they want me to stay at income wise, I don’t know how long I can keep myself above water. It just feels like everywhere I turn, There is a wall. It’s very depressing. I just don’t know what to do. I’m feeling very low about myself right now. I just don’t know what to do. Any advice out there?

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

One day at a time, always. Big (((hugs)))
I'm glad that you're having your medical needs tended to..... Another hug and a blessing.....xo
It's amazing to me that people now days have to have a lawyer in order to get disability. It hasn't always been that way. In the past an eligible person used to be able to simply apply on their own with a good chance of obtaining a positive result.
