Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I googled again and found a free NAMI website that does the same thing - allows you to make a WRAP on your own by printing from a pdf.
Skip the mentalhealthrecovery.com website - I would try this pdf from NAMI if anyone is interested:

Thanks Sitka - wish I would have read that before I wasted my 10 bucks, ha!!
I got lots of information and was Impressed with it; I have brought it up, over and over, here in my home state at the MH clinic and other pdoc offices, but no one seems to actually want to get paients Well. (very frustrating)
Thanks for mentioning, blessedgirl :)
and i have had counseling from a WRAP-trained peer-coach.
i have read copeland's book. i think it's a bit CBT-heavy for me, but cognitive behavioral conditioning is good for goal-setting and learning basic positive thought patterns, (and the flipside, breaking negative patterns).
i needed dbt/trauma counseling/EMDR to help squish my ghost. for complex ptsd, cbt is probably great, but combat type? nope. useless.
it's just about staying healthy.... red flags and triggers... crisis plan.. positive things you can do when depressed... it is a little CBTish there .... I found it didn't really help me bcs I already knew the stuff.... but I think it's a good learning tool for those who need it... tbh I can't truly say I recall the content in that much detail apart from what I have written above
I might be co-facilitating teaching a WRAP course in the near future... will be interesting to see how that goes
