Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Has anyone noticed their "down" times have become worse lately (becoming longer and longer). Does anyone know why this happens?? My manic periods seem to be further and farther between. Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening?
Any information that you guys might have, that might help me would be greatly appreciated!!

maybe your meds aren't working as well any more. I know I've noticed being hypomanic a lot more lately and it scares me. I have a choice of two meds to be on due to other medications that I'm on counteracting with bipolar meds. I'm just learning to live with less sleep but am getting things done.

Are you on meds? If not, you may need to see a pdoc (psychiatrist). Or if you are on meds, maybe you need a change of dosage or something like that. If it were me I would see my pdoc.
