Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Today, October 10th 2019, is Worl Health Day. So, if you want to share, lets share an actual good experience with an individual doctor, nurse, random individual or maybe not a person but experience that was positive in regards to your mental health. I'll start. So, I had shared my bipolar with an individual and we had talk quite a few times about it. One day she had told me "wow it must be exhausting, the ups and downs." Now, this does not seem to big but it stuck with me because she had really put thought into me and mine. She acknowledged me and actually felt for me and it seemed as if she really cared. She felt some sort of understanding for the condition and idk, it was nice of her to actual listen and make a realization about it.
So, what sort of positive stories do you guys have to share. Something that really made an impact or difference?

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...
I first joined in 2006 with a burning question on my mind - basically, I wanted to know what was bipolar, and what was Me.
Mark (curiousfish) was the first person to help with that - he told me if I only felt something sometimes, it might be the bipolar. But if I felt it All the time, regardless of my mood, it might be Me.
Now that's not a universal guide or truth, (example) for those who feel depressed All the time, etc. But for me, it was life changing!
I love all the crazy, wonderful things I lived through, as a bipolar person. It had a cost, yes, but since I can't go back and do things over differently, I choose to remember my life as Fun, and wonderful.
That in itself is a "good memory".
Thanks for this post.
Big squishy hugs....xo
