I had a pretty high main tolerance but since I have Fibromyalgia and am in pain all the time...every single bit of pain beyond my usually often leaves me bedridden. My suggestion? Drugs. My uncle had surgery on both his shoulders and had all kinds of pins put in and such. He had to have lots of physical therapy just to be able to lift his arms again. Only thing that worked for him? Drugs...and occasionally alcohol.

Oh btw, I mean legal, prescription pain medication. Not illegal ones. If you tell your doctor you are hurting like a MoFo, they will sometimes prescribe some for you during your recovery. I had lots of chronic pain and my doc gave me prescriptions until I lost my job and my insurance. Now I have nothing.
