Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I am hardly on the site because I am a high functioning BP. I have been all the places or at least most of the places your moods have gone. But I have a great pdoc and try to keep in a supportive group of people. (church and prayers are my support systems including an addiction program within the church).
I hate not being part of the group. I am always missing it by this much.(Get Smart).
But I want you all to know I don't feel like I will always be in this mood and I will continually have these med cocktail changes because as we know, their is no panacea. I have lots of faith and what I don't have I ask for. But that doesn't mean I will be completely cured. All of us have gifts and hopefully as I use to tell my kids.(25 and 28 now) Use Your power for good not evil.
If this helps someone today great. If it offends somebody, I am not trying to go there. If someone wants to just ignore it, you can.
Because we are all free in this country to speak our mind.

I'm sure we're all here for give and take. When we're doing well, we share the joy. When we're down, we share the misery. I think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread!
I wish more of us had that kind of support,so many of us do this BP stuff pretty much alone.
