Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

This guy!
It caught me way, way, way waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off-guard, because it was somebody from the queer/genderfluid/transgender community. I got spit on, on my own turf! What the hell?
This person added me on facebook, they were from my group, so I accepted, we talked briefly. They (I'm not sure their preferred pronoun) seemed very kind, lovely and sweet.
Then they posted a status that was like, "Cover up sweetie, no one wants to see that."
And so I deleted them, but they messaged me later. I guess They didn't noticed that I'd deleted them, so I mentioned it, I said, "Hey, that was offensive and sound slut-shame-y. I don't tolerate slut-shaming, so I off'd ya. Sorry."
and basically they were like, "Why are you offended, 'cause you're a slut and I called you on it? Lol."
And I was kind of like, "That does it, jackass. I was going to offer you help with gender dysphoria even though we aren't a good fit as friends, but that was rude, so fuck it."
And then they got kind of hysterically upset and pulled the "nice guy" card and seemed.... genuinely really embarrassed and confused.
Ugh. Weird.
After their genuine state of shock I decided to not post screenshots of the unpleasant interaction, because it led me to believe that maybe they have a mental disorder or were high or something, so it'd be unfair for me to like, embarrass them publicly when they don't even get it.
I took some Outfit Of The Day photos today, I'm chesty with a bra on sadly, so there was a big ol' slice of cleavage,
And in a fit of kind of... ridiculous "fuck it", I photoshopped a picture of Steve Buscemi over my cleavage, because I was like, "You cannot possibly de-sexualize yourself in a more hardcore way than this. Steve Buscemi is my big, rebellious 'fuck you' to calling me a slut."
Probably it would've been braver to Free The Cleavage after this incident, but I was honest about how it hurt my feelings and bruised my ego. I showed my vulnerability with a Steve Buscemi-shop.
So. Yea. Whoo. Long day. Some other stuff happened too, I'll make a separate post.
I haven't slept in more than 24 hours and had to go to the DFACS office earlier about my food stamps, the lady had such an attitude towards me and my poor ol' mum.
You'd think, "huh, shitty day," but I'm about to explain why not. (I'm making a separate post for the positive sunshiny rainbow stuff)
But don't you just hate that? I'm so tired of fighting my whole "nudity/voluptuousness does not equal sexual" case. People are starting to wake up and smell the coffee, but there are so many people who still can't grasp this concept. It's staggering and makes me so uncomfortable.
Well. I hope the person who said that to me is calm and enjoying their time now, having a nice day. I know I sure am. For the first time all day, I don't feel nauseous much. I hope they've moved on and are enjoying the rest of their day, too, because I wouldn't know one way or the other, I blocked them.

Woke up feeling very emotional and about to clock in at my place of employment. And can't place it all in writing but not been a good experience with my store manager or his boss. Defamation of my character is a concern. I've been losing appetite and weight. Trying to perform at work to keep myself from hospitalization as a result of toxic masculinity.

Voltaire I always wish you well. I wish the world was kinder but it's not. I just wonder why it is that this generation seeks validation on our physical appearance from strangers online? There really is so so so much more to a person than that...
Delete and ignore would be my advise... . And of course a great big hug...xo

Oh yeah. I'm sorry that this happened to you.
Firstly I'm only 20 so I mean, even though I seem "old soul" I'm still a kid of the modern ages,
I'm a firm believer of posting selfies, many or few, regardless of level of physical attractiveness, gender, or anything else, because I'm here for body positivity.
Also my "deep side" or "deep self" or however one would word that, is insane and a mess and it's not enjoyable to be a deep person all the time when your brain doesn't like.... have limits. Or know when to quit. Trying to indulge in more meaningful stuff is very hard to do without "shallow breaks" whereinwhich you do something mindless and stupid, whether it's selfies, TV, a blog, gardening, y'know some random mindless activity.
Also the point isn't to accept that we're going to get comments calling us slutty if we post lots of selfies. D; Nobody should have to tolerate that. It shouldn't come with the territory.
But it wasn't in response to one of my photos. It was just something she/they threw out there in a status that I criticized because "Cover it up sweetie" is a disgusting attitude to have, all else aside. Especially among the queer crowd. Especially among the crowd of people my age.
I posted that photo afterwards, after I blocked her/them.
Also posting a picture of Steve Buscemi over my chest was funny! (or was intended to be, lol) Humor with a message!
At least to me. xD Buscemi's kind of a 'thing' right now I guess because of his funny-lookin' eyes.
But umm thanks you guys, I think.
Sorry, I'm too tired to adequately respond to this.
I did get sleep! Finally. It didn't come easy. I'll just use Melatonin next time, even though it gives me funny dreams.
