Oh, go. It will be fun. You could get lots of ideas for costumes from people here, and then you can pretend to be someone else for one night. How many times can you get away with that and be socially acceptable? I had a friend that one year went around to all of our friend's cars and stole something from out of the car. Then he showed up at the party as a drunk santa and gave "presents" to everyone. Yup, they were the things he had stolen from out of their cars. He told me I was on the naughty list..... I lock my car doors.

Wear your normal everyday clothes. And when ppl ask what your costume is tell them your a warewolf. When they ask wheres the fur point at the moon and tell them its not full tonight. - wont work if there really is a full moon though

Oh, definitely go! But try not to stress about it for the whole month! Halloween is my favorite time of year. For a costume you can do a low-key thing like get a colored wig, or devil horns/kitty ears, something very small and simple that just acknowledges the day. :) I'm having fun just thinking of it.
