we met in your office, a time that I never wanted,
you stuck in through all the rage and all the sadness,
you jumped through all my hoops and blockades,
at times I hated going because you could see the real me.
through all of this you coddled and prodded, held my hand and listened.
you helped me to see that there can be true healing and understanding.
over time you came to be my greatest confidante and a great friend,
and today you helped us realize that our time with you was now gone.
you made us see that tomorrow can still bring forth a brighter future even though you may not be there to share in it.
when we left your office for the last time today, we hurt so badly knowing it was the last time we would see our SUPER THERAPIST MISS CHERIE!

PS I never thought I could learn to trust a therapist, and today I had to let hands down the best LPC ever go! :( I start with the new LCSW on a regular basis in two weeks. I am so nervous, and I hate change, but it had to be done for the betterment of everyone. this new one is experienced in everything I need her to be....hopefully she can help the all
