Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

im feeling better, less depressed. i went and saw my doctor last week and she prescribed me an antidepressant. i know they take like a month to fully work. but i feel like this is wat i needed. I need to set small goals. My first goal will be to create a sleep schedule as mine has been way off. second will be to work on my emotional baggage and other issues with my counselor. I was feeling so good yesterday. mornings are rough for me usually but hopefully once i have a regular routine itlll get better. Im looking forward to thanksgiving! i am going to my aunts house. :) maybe that should be another goal, a gratitude journal. any other suggestions?

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

I'm glad that you're feeling better.... It looks like you have some good and healthy plans
Mindfulness meditation can be really helpful I'm told..... I haven't done it myself......xo
Every person is different when it comes to medication. Every person adjusts on a different time schedule. Keep in touch with your Pdoc about the side effects, that's important. And it's good to keep a "medication journal" when you start new meds, to jot down daily any changes or side effects that got better or worse, so you and your Pdoc can track progress or decide to stop them.
But in the end you have to give them time to work.
