Went out again this weekend- I'm turning into quite the wild child. Lol. My housemate was rather shocked when I told her. I just went to hangout with a friend but it was something. We stocked up on junk food and liquor and binged watched shark movies on Syfy. It was simple, easy and fun and I didn't do anything dumb or regretful. Well, except having too much to drink but that regret only lasted an hour. I got home at 4:30 am proud to say I didn't do anything bad. Yaay me. I deserved that night off.
What fun thing have you done this weekend?

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

And then I bought some model cars for a friend...and an old-timey wagon (buckboard) (child's toy)....um, and a few geode stones for my energy channeling. And some other stuff....
Uh-oh. I think you came out on the better end of things, iam. lol
We could go Paint the Town...it's not That far to where you live :)
If you are stable then this kind of thing may be ok. If you are not stable then this is likely to make things worse. And I don't think you have been stable - even this week.
I very nearly killed myself at your age accidently while binge drinking. Actually it was probably more than once but I don't remember it. I know people that had accidents that left them maimed for life.
If I've got to be the bad guy, so be it.
I've never been an alcoholic, so I don't know at what point a person is saying "It's Fine!!" when everyone Else (who are actually There) are saying "No, it's NOT".
I DO know spending, and I am Good to say, "It's Fine!!" when everyone else around me is saying, "No, it's NOT."
...and then, a gazillion dollars later, they turn out to be Right.
The sad thing, iam, is that we can't really drink when we're Depressed....that's not good...and we can't drink when we're Manic, 'cause That's not good either....like me and my spending, or my dating/sex life, or my ANYthing else, because bottom line,
I don't know Balance. And I can Work on the balance, as long as I'm not tempting fate by saying things like, "It's FINE."
((((((HUGS)))))))))
If you add on top of that not being on meds and being unstable anyway then the risks go up.
I guess you are just going to have to learn the hard way, that managing bipolar, does not include drinking.
But it's your life , so be it
I wish you only the best !
