Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
It's really about the right mix. I skipped my seroquel two days ago and I am manic as a result. I'm back on, but still can't get to sleep yet, but getting tired. If you find the right mix and diligently stick with it you'll be fine. For me this is the first major event in about 2 years. I think you will be fine , it does get better.. J

I just find that I can shake the sleepiness if I get moving too much, and you don't really want to do that. Talk to the pdoc if that doesn't work. Good luck!
Try sticking to your routines for going to bed, even if it means you read a book and have the radio on low in the background try not to get up. Have you tried using an S.A.D. lamp that gives a gentle sunset to help fool the body into going to sleep, maybe when your body is buzzing you need a 2nd sunset later on.
that's pretty early probably by lots of people's standards here
sounds to me like you've got quite a good sleeping pattern, relatively speaking :)
Some people here go days without sleep (including me) - 1am being late would be a joy lol
