Hello my friends and fellow BP fighters,

The day has come for me to stop my medication.

I am planning on getting pregnant and refuse to take medication while pregnant and breast feeding.

I have doctor, family and friend support and this is the last step in my step down program. It has taken me several months to get to this point.

I am really freaked out about the idea of not taking medication when I go to bed tonight. After a month of no medication we are going to start trying for children, so please wish us luck.

I see a councilor once a month and check in with family every other day.

I have gone cold turkey off my meds before and really bad things happened, so I am hopeful this time, I also have a better support system this time.

So everyone, wish my husband and I luck please, as we start out on this new step in life.
